Energy’s Electrifying Comeback: A Synth-Pop Romance
Taiwan’s iconic dance group Energy is back with 同病相戀 (Mutual Love Sickness), their 2025 love anthem releasing March 31. Following last year’s viral hit 星期五晚上 (Friday Night), this track—produced by Starr Chen and written by Golden Melody Award lyricist David Ke—fuses Synth-Rock beats with addictive pop hooks. Teased as the theme song for the rom-com Lovesick, it’s a fizzy ode to love’s delirious highs.
Nostalgia Hits Harder Than a Crush
Recording the song sent Energy spiraling into teenage memories. A-Di laughed about serenading a crush outside her dorm, while Shu-Wei admitted to cheating at a “key game” to win a date. “This song is like time-traveling to our school days,” said Toro. Even the MV, filmed at Tamsui Junior High (a Lovesick filming site), turned into a reunion—Kunda and Toro revisited their college hangouts and joked about their “dramatic first meeting” (a hallway showdown over a girl that bonded them for life).
