There is a precise point where vulnerability meets high art, and SHI SHI (Sun Sheng Xi) navigates that threshold with couture precision. The Golden Melody Award recipient has spent over a decade reimagining modern Mandarin pop, weaving strands of velvet R&B, Neo-Soul, and electronic syncopation into a signature sonic tapestry. Now, the singer-songwriter is set to bring her world tour, “The Taste Of…”, to Malaysia for her long-awaited debut solo headline show.
On Sunday, December 6, 2026, Zepp Kuala Lumpur will host an evening defined by atmospheric soundscapes and intimate, raw storytelling.
Deconstructing Emotional Chemistry
Conceived as a live extension of her conceptual work, “The Taste Of…” serves as an auditory feast mapping the full spectrum of human sensation—the bittersweet tang of nostalgia, the sudden surge of passion, and the quiet residue of longing.
Shi Shi’s trajectory reached a definitive zenith at the 35th Golden Melody Awards, where she claimed Best Mandarin Female Singer for her self-produced album BOOMERANG. That mastery of tone is evident across her repertoire. Her setlist promises a seamless transition from the soaring cinematic nostalgia of “Someday or One Day” and “Remembered” to the sultry cadence of “Constant Temperature” and the Korean-infused narrative of “Tteokbokki.”
An Immersive Evening at Zepp KL
