To mark the 25th anniversary of Nickelodeon’s beloved animated series, SpongeBob SquarePants, British watchmaker Spinnaker has launched a unique, limited-edition collection of timepieces steeped in nautical nostalgia.
Iconic Characters as Watch Faces
The collection features the show’s iconic characters—SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs—each adorning the face of Spinnaker’s renowned Hass Automatic model. Every watch face showcases the distinctive color palette of its respective character: SpongeBob in vibrant yellow and aqua, Patrick in shades of pink and purple, Squidward in mint green and brown, and Mr. Krabs in a blend of pink and light blue.

Detailed Design and Craftsmanship
These timepieces are crafted with multi-layered dials and luminous accents, highlighting each character’s unique features, indices, and numbering. Adding a nostalgic touch, the inner bezel is inscribed with a memorable SpongeBob quote: “You never really know the true value of a moment until it becomes a memory.”
Robust and Nautical-Inspired Features
Each watch measures 43mm in case width and features a two-tone unidirectional turning bezel. Made from marine-grade 316L stainless steel, these watches are built to endure up to 30 ATM underwater, reflecting their nautical theme. The collaboration is marked by the inscribed logos of SpongeBob SquarePants and Spinnaker on the steel caseback.
Packaging and Availability
The SP-5138 Hass Automatic SpongeBob SquarePants 25th Limited Edition watches come with a stainless steel bracelet and an additional two-tone rubber strap. They are presented in a distinctive yellow equipment hard case adorned with SpongeBob SquarePants graphics. Priced at $445 USD, the collection will be available on Spinnaker’s official website starting July 26.
